The undead have taken over smartphones in Brazil, with zombie-themed games showing robust performance in the first quarter of 2021. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at how these games fared on the Android platform.

Zombie Tsunami, published by Mobigame SAS, maintained a steady stream of downloads, peaking at 165K in the last week of December 2020 and then gradually declining to 115K by the end of March 2021. Active users saw a high of 2.7M in the same period, with minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at approximately 2.2M.

The Vietnamese studio VNGGames Studios' Dead Target: Zombie Games 3D generated revenues ranging from $1.1K to $1.4K weekly. Downloads decreased from 102K to 66K, while weekly active users saw a dip from 392K to 320K during the quarter.

Zombie Catchers : Hunt & sell by Deca Games, although experiencing a downward trend in revenue, saw an impressive jump in downloads from 39K to 75K in early March before settling to 56K. Active users peaked at 467K, with a slight drop to 459K by quarter's end.
